A number of birds can be seen on the trail and surrounding areas throughout the year.  Black-capped Chickadee, Tufted Titmouse, White-breasted Nuthatch, American Robin, European Starling, Dark-eyed Junco, Northern Cardinal, American Goldfinch, House Sparrow,  Red-tailed Hawk, Mourning Dove, Downy Woodpecker, Hairy Woodpecker, Blue Jay, American Crow.  Here is the list of spring birding dates so you won’t miss them on the trail.
